The Motivation Behind the Creation of AHL ALYOUSSOUFIA Cooperative
Women and girls often face discrimination, exclusion, and limited access to education, healthcare, and decision-making opportunities. Deep-rooted social stereotypes have restricted their roles and reduced their chances to fully participate in economic and social life. These challenges not only affect women themselves, but also their families and future generations.
In Morocco, important efforts have been made over the past decades to promote women’s rights and empowerment. Inspired by these initiatives, AHL ALYOUSSOUFIA Cooperative was created to support women’s economic independence, enhance their skills, and promote local heritage through sustainable and community-based development.
